Christmas Projection Mapping

Enlightened was delighted to facilitate Buro Happold’s Christmas installation of projection-mapped content onto the entire five-storey east face of their Bath offices. Our production team ensured that the animations were crisp and bright in all light conditions utilising over 30,000 lumens of laser projection.

Since last years’ Advent window display, Buro Happold’s Christmas office light installation looks set to become a much-anticipated Bath tradition, with residents and visitors alike expressing their delight of this year’s instalment over social media.  

Buro Happold’s in house team did a fantastic job of creating the content which included a stunning animation of the walls of the building folding open to reveal an interior of turning geared engine wheels. The animation was designed to celebrate the relationship between engineering and technology Incorporating forms and patterns from some of the practice’s big projects animated into shifting tessellated patterns highlighting the advances in computational engineering the firm has seen since it was founded in the 1970s. Other seasonal animations included an animated Christmas tree and Seasonal message.
