Job Description

Portsmouth Guildhall Armistice Centenary

Commemorative Light Installation

We are honoured to be commisioned by Portsmouth City Council to create an installation for their Armistice Day commemorations on the centenary anniversary of the end of the first world war through creating a projection mapped light installation covering the entire front facade of Portsmouth’s historic Guildhall.

The evocative and reflective installation can be seen across the Armistice centenary weekend, running every evening at nightfall from Friday the 9th of November through till late Sunday evening of the 11th.

Full content creation and production were provided by the Enlightened team who are using over 80,000 lumens of edge blended laser projection, shooting the content from a six-story elevated position over 85 metres away.

Amy Tilt: Events and Sponsorship Manager: Culture and City Development: Portsmouth City Council “Just wanted to say a huge thank you to your team for pulling this all together at such short notice, it looks incredible. We have been inundated with positive comments and I stood in the square yesterday and was surrounded by positive, moving comments”.
