Great things come in small packages

New in our Hire Stock: The Nexo Award-winning, P Series: The point-source loudspeaker perfected as well as the versatile and compact Nexo ID series.

Enlightened has made a significant investment in our Audio provision recently, adding the award-winning Nexo P series P12 Speakers and L15 Sub with NXAMP 4X2 MK2 amplifiers to our Hire Stock. The system provides incredible high-end audio and high sound levels in a compact 12” form factor, suitable for live music, playback and corporate events. 

We have also added Nexo’s ID Series to offer our clients greater flexibility of choice. Smaller than the P Series but just as versatile Nexo’s ID24 Speakers have a compact design that belies their powerful output. Paired with Nexo’s NXAMP 4X1 MK2 they pack an impressive 126dB peak SPL. They can be simply used in pairs or in multiples with up to 16 units able to be powered by a single NXAMP 4X1 MK2 amplifier. Also from the ID series, Enlightened have purchased the S110 subs to supplement the ID24. With a 10” driver they add low-end extension down to 43Hz to the ID range. Together they are an ideal customisable solution across the widest variety of theatrical, live music and event productions. 

The new NX AMP range are in a class of their own designed through a collaboration of Nexo and Yamaha the NXAMP 4X1 MK2 and NXAMP 4X2 MK2 providing unparalleled amplification and advanced signal processing that deliver incredible range and clarity.

“Enlightened have had Nexo’s popular PS series in our rental stock for over 10 years. Over that time they have proven to be great-sounding, reliable boxes that have proven popular with our clients. For these reasons, we chose to invest again in the Nexo brand. 

Nexo has a reputation for making speakers that pack high SPL into small format boxes and that is fundamentally one of the big attractions in the P12. The dual-concentric design means the boxes are small in size for the big sound they deliver, as well as offering improved clarity to the sound. We were blown away by the L15 subs, with 15” drivers they gave our 18” subs a run for their money!

Nexo’s equally impressive ID series packs a punch in a tiny size! With it’s dual 4” drivers and rotatable horns, the ID24 will allow us to deliver flexible audio solutions for more demanding applications where the small form factor is essential. Again Nexo hasn’t compromised the audio quality when making such small boxes; the sound is impressive, particularly when paired with the S110 subs”.

All of our new NEXO equipment is available to hire individually, however they are also available as audio packages in configurations that are designed to perfectly equip events of different sizes.
