Billed as “the biggest global gathering of natural world storytellers”, the Wildscreen Festival is a highly prestigious event that celebrates the achievements and shares stories from all areas of the wildlife film and TV industry globally. This biennial festival is held in the city seen by many as the global hub of the natural history film and TV industry; Bristol.
Haddenham Studios is a brand new, sustainable film and TV studio located just outside the Chiltern Hills area of natural beauty and close to Oxford. Enlightened was pleased to be approached by Robert Hollingworth, the designer and owner of the studios, who required a full fit-out of the studio for professional film and TV work.
Our installation team were delighted to be approached by South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS), to facilitate the design and technical installation of a professional standard TV studio space into their newly built, 7m state-of-the-art Brunel Centre, at the college's Stoke Gifford Campus.
The new centre was designed with sustainability and wellbeing at its heart and is the new home of the colleges, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Media courses.
Atrium Theatrical Lighting Fixtures & Control Installation
We were delighted to work with the BBC development team behind the brand new, Norman Foster and Partners designed, 120 million pound, state of the art BBC headquarters in Cardiff to install production-grade lighting and infrastructure into the buildings magnificent five-storey skylit atrium.
Enlightened were delighted to provide Avanti Media and BBC Cymru with full production Rigging and a live Video Wall for the recording of their flagship topical debate programme.
Enlightened were once again called on by BBC South East to provide power and lighting for a reactive debate about the issues caused by Operation Stack and the Migrant and Refugee issues in Calais.
Within just 48 hours from the first phone call, we had a truck loaded, crew re-allocated and ready to go.
We specified and installed the following equipment to the University of Bath’s on Campus TV Studio. The bespoke truss allowed for additional lighting fixtures for which the installation of local power supply was installed along with additional data panels and cable.
Twin studio rail curtain tracks were also installed along with white cyc filled cloth drapes and Chroma key cyc curtains and a 35 meter Rosco Chroma key floor.
Enlightened travelled to Kent to work with the BBC on a TV debate during the Rochester & Strood by-election.
We transformed the magnificent Corn Exchange in the centre of Rochester into a TV studio, highlighting the building’s neo-classical architectural features in the process, using a large number of our LED fixtures, along with a good mix of generic lighting.
After the devastating 2014 floods in the South West of England subsided, Enlightened were asked by the BBC to provide lighting and video projection for a regional TV debate program on their aftermath.
